The Clean Economy Bridge (TCB) kicked off its newest phase by traveling to the US and Canada in September, with the Canadian roundtables led by German State Secretary and Climate Ambassador Jennifer Morgan. The purpose was to exchange with leading North American voices in energy and climate policy with the goal of identifying the topics and audiences that are most important to achieving net-zero emissions subnationally. 

The roundtable event in Ontario brought together clean economy experts to identify opportunities to strengthen cross-country dialog on clean economy topics including reciprocal investment opportunities with Germany and anchor it more firmly in the subnational level. The roundtable led to discussions on topics for mutual cooperation and laid out structures for doing so, while highlighting the resources TCB can offer in support. 

The event took place on September 19 under the Chatham House Rule and included province-level representatives as well as members from Ontario's civil society and private sector.
