What We Do
Content

Our goal is to promote and facilitate transatlantic cooperation on energy and climate policy. We work to address the political and societal challenges of the vital transition to a clean economy.

Cooperation between Germans, Americans, and Canadians is an essential element of achieving the Paris Agreement targets by rapidly and durably reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Improving each country’s understanding of the others’ climate-policy positions is at the core of our work.

How do we pursue our goal? Through tried and tested formats we connect actors in the U.S., Germany, and Canada. Each a front runner in their own right, the three countries possess a wealth of experience that can benefit the other. We enable knowledge transfer through connecting ambitious actors on both sides of the Atlantic through continued engagement to enable exchangeg with lasting outcomes. TCB works with stakeholders from subnational governments, to industry leaders, to rising youth voices and civil society.
